Holiday Lights

Its a little early but I was afraid I wouldn't have time to put up the lights any other weekend so this weekend it was.

Beer Bottle Caps

Ok, I have a bad habit of collecting what my wife calls Junk. If I see a nice bottle, matchbook or bottle cap, I have a tendency to keep it for awhile. Maybe I was a squirrel in a past life, collecting shiny objects. With the bottles at least I can use them for home brew, with the bottle caps, I thought it would be really cool to make a mosaic, but that is a big project. Well, I found something to do with those caps…… refrigerator magnets ! I went down to the craft store picked up a hot glue gun, and some magnets.Hot Glue & MagnestsThe CapsI had the capsglueJust glue the magnets inside the caps,undefined so there you go thats all you need.



Your caps can now join the rest of your magnets.

Google Maps Street View

Google Maps Street View is a bout a year old. If you haven't seen it yet you might want to check it out. it looks like this,View Larger Map
I recently looked at my house with this was kind of cool but, kind of creepy at the same time,there was my place and there was Kate watering the lawn. Creepy, we didn't even know that they were there at the time. Then again it is kind of cool that Kate is there, it makes ours kind of personalized. It is also kind of cool that we can go sight seeing in our own home and see things like the Brady Bunch House, movie studios or Yosemite.
